Obituary: Helen Amichetti, 99

Helen Amichetti, a lifelong resident of Ossining, died on June 23 at age 99. She was born Sept. 28 to Innocenzo and Govina Longhi Zaccardi.

Amichetti is pre-deceased by her husband Joseph, sister Theresa Mancuso and brothers Sam and Jerry Zaccardi. She is survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

The reposing service will be held on Thursday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and again from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Leach & Thomas, Inc. in Ossining.

The mass of Christian burial is on Friday at 10 a.m. at St. Ann’s Church, also in Ossining. The burial will take place at Sleepy Hollow Cemetery.
