Obituary: Irene Grant Nelson Of Croton-on-Hudson

Irene Grant Nelson – 99 – A resident of Croton since 1995 and previously of Yonkers, passed away December 19, 2020.

Irene was born in Yonkers on October 17, 1921 and was the daughter of the late William and Alice (Baldwin) Grant.

She was a retired Office Manager for Dr. George Kurian in Yonkers for 20 years. She was a former member of the North Yonkers Community Church. She moved to Croton in 1991.

Renee is survived by 4 children, Thomas (Doris) Carole, James, Doug (Kim); her sister Carol Brouillard; 8 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. She was predeceased by her husband Thomas (November 19, 1974) and 5 siblings.

The funeral mass will be held at 11am on Saturday January 16, 2021 at Holy Trinity CEC located at 2285 Plank Rd. Stewartstown, PA 17363. The online funeral mass can be viewed at facebook.com/Holytrinitycec.

There will be zoom reception after the service.
