Obituary: Leonard Sellazzo, 77

Leonard Sellazzo of Ossining, a self-employed plumber, passed away on June 23 at the age of 77. Sellazzo was born on Dec. 29 in Ossining to Matteo and Tomasina Grella Sellazzo. 

He is survived by his wife Joyce; their son Daniel, and his wife Priscila; their daughter Teri and her husband Tony; his step sons John DeFeo, Stephen DeFeo and his wife Susan.

He is also survived by eight grandchildren, his sisters Toni Free and Dolores Gates as well as many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews and many cousins. 

Services will be held on Wednesday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Leave & Thomas, Inc. 32 State St. in Ossining. The mass of Christian burial takes place on Thursday at 10 a.m. at St. Ann’s Church, the burial is a private event.
