Teresa R. DiMichele, 93, a longtime resident of Ossining, passed away on Saturday, January 30, 2021. Teresa was born in Brooklyn on January 23, 1928, and was the daughter of Antonio and Pasqua (Rella) Battista.

Teresa attended school in Brooklyn and graduated in 1946 from Girls Commercial High School. She married Peter on January 25, 1953 at St. Paul’s Church in Brooklyn. She then moved to Ossining. She was a former Secretary at Cambridge Instruments on Spring Street. From 1965 to 1970 she worked at Ossining High School in the school lunch program, and then was the Head Cashier at the Claremont School from 1970 to 1975. She worked at Reader’s Digest from 1977 to 1993.

She was a former member of the PTA at St. Ann’s School. Teresa loved family gatherings, especially holidays and summertime outdoor gatherings with extended family members and friends. “She was the life of the party."

Terry is survived by her children Anthony, Carolyn (Michael) Moschitto; two siblings Margaret Kurak and Rosetta (Edward) Murray; 4 grandchildren, Joseph, Michael, Nicholas and Andrea Moschitto, and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her siblings Marcus Battista, Carol Anton, O.P., Joseph Battista, and Theresa Battista, who passed away as a child.

Visiting hours on Friday from 4-8 PM at Dorsey Funeral Home, Emwilton Place. The Mass will be celebrated at St. Ann’s Church on Saturday at 10 am. Interment at St. Augustine’s Cemetery.
