Flying flames, flipping acrobats and magnificent mammals will dazzle Westchester residents will an old-time traveling circus experience in Tarrytown and Croton-on-Hudson at the “Animals & Acrobats” and “A Night on Fire” events next weekend.
Fire spinners will light up the night at Philipsburg Manor in Sleepy Hollow on Friday, June 21 and Saturday, June 22.

The Emperor Norton’s Stationary Marching Band will kick off the show with their funky vaudevillian sound. Comedic fire jugglers from A Different Spin troupe will swallow fire, perform choreographed stunts, dances and sword fights that will keep families chuckling during their performances at 8:15 p.m. and 10 p.m.
“A Night on Fire” sold out to its debut crowd last year, prompting the addition of a total of four hour-long performances over the two evenings this year.

Tickets for this show are $20 for adults and $15 for children 17 and under, while members of Historic Hudson Valley receive a $5 per ticket discount.
The “Animals & Acrobats” shows—at Van Cortlandt Manor in Croton-on-Hudson on Saturday, June 22 and Sunday, June 23 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.—will feature stilt dancers, tight rope walking, juggling, acrobats, massive puppets, an ambassador wolf, animal conservation groups and animals shows, a birds of prey show and the chance to work on your own circus skills.
Tickets for Animals & Acrobats are $16 for adults, $14 for seniors, $12 for children 3-17, free for children under three and Historic Hudson Valley members.
Those who purchase tickets for “Animals & Acrobats” in advance online get free popcorn for those under 18 in their group. Geordane’s of Irvington will provide picnic food and beverages, while Blue Pig of Croton-on-Hudson provides homemade ice cream made from local ingredients.
