Ossining Businesses Cited For Alcohol, Vape Product Sales

The Ossining Police Department conducted a joint operation with the Westchester County Health Department.

OSSINING, NY — Four local businesses received citations after this week's checks of retail establishments in Ossining for compliance with state rules about the sale of alcohol and of vape products.

The operation was a joint effort with the Westchester County Department of Health, Ossining police said. It was made possible through partnership with Ossining Communities That Care.

Three locations who were alleged to have sold an alcoholic beverage to a person under the age of 21 received police citations:

1. Highland Gas Mart (BP) – 185 North Highland Ave.
2. Palisades Fuel (Sunoco) – 197 South Highland Ave.
3. CVS Albany LLC (CVS) – 202 South Highland Ave.

Additionally, the Belle Avenue Shell station was cited by the County Health Department for display of flavored vaping products. A significant amount of merchandise was seized by county agents.

"Our objective is safe and healthy young people. If you sell booze to kids, we're coming for you," OPD said on Facebook.
