Ossining Man Stopped In Wappinger Had Illegal Gun: Cops

WAPPINGER, NY — New York State police patrolling Route 9 in Dutchess County stopped a 2014 Honda Civic at 12:20 a.m. March 12 for vehicle and traffic violations. They found an illegal gun, they said.

Police arrested Mauricio Agudelo, 21, of Ossining, NY, and charged him with Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 2nd degree, a class C felony. They alleged Agudelo was in unlawful possession of a Rohm Model RG31 revolver.

Agudelo was arraigned before the town of Wappinger Court, and remanded by the Honorable Judge Kitchen to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 secure bond.
