Ossining Native Inducted into National College Athlete Honor Society

Kathyrn Polletta is now majoring in Fine Art and is a member of the Basketball team at SUNY Oneonta.

Kathryn Polletta of Ossining, NY, was inducted into the Chi Alpha Sigma National College Athlete Honor Society on April 7. Polletta, who is majoring in Fine Art, is a member of the Basketball team at SUNY Oneonta.

Polletta was one of 29 scholar-athletes inducted into Chi Alpha Sigma during a luncheon held in celebration of National Student Athlete Day and NCAA Division III Week. To qualify for induction into Chi Alpha Sigma, a student must have achieved at least junior standing with a cumulative 3.4 grade point average while earning a varsity letter in an NCAA intercollegiate sport. Each student athlete must also be of good moral character and have the endorsement of both the head coach of his or her sport and the chapter president.
