WORCESTER, MA (04/05/2016)-- Dean Schifilliti is a member of the Men's Rowing Varsity Eight which was recognized as the WPI Men's Student-Athlete of the Week for the week ending April 3rd.

The boating of coxswain Kelsey Regan, Michael Beinor, Nick Cebry, Michael Eaton, Jeremy Hemingway, Danny Singer, Dean Schifilliti, Nathan Pietrowicz and Jackson Krupnick reached the finish line in 6:09.0 to win the Class of 2003 Cup on Saturday on Lake Quinsigamond. The Engineers finished 2.5 seconds ahead of second place Wesleyan, 7.5 seconds better than UMass and nearly 20 seconds ahead of Colby.
