
Dec. 1 is Saturday. Here's what officials in Briarcliff Manor and Pleasantville want residents and people who work in the villages to know:
Pleasantville residents are reminded that winter parking restrictions go into effect this weekend.
Per Village Code § 173-31. Nighttime parking restricted: No vehicle shall be parked for a period longer than 1/2 hour on any street or highway in the village at any time between 1 - 7 a.m. from the first day of December to the first day of April of the following year.
In Briarcliff Manor, starting 1 December and through 31 March overnight parking is prohibited from 2 - 6 a.m. on any Village street, road or Municipal Parking lot with the exception of the Scarborough Train Station Parking Lot. Overnight parking at VBM’s Railroad Station lot is prohibited from 3:00 AM to 6:00 AM. Violators will be fined.
