Pedestrian Hit By Car, Driver Leaves Scene In Ossining

The police department asked for the public's help with information about the incident.

OSSINING, NY — Ossining police said a pedestrian was struck by a car Wednesday on Croton Avenue at the intersection of Linden Avenue. Officials said the victim was taken to an area hospital with minor injuries, but the driver of the vehicle left the scene before police arrived.

The police department put a post on Facebook calling for the public's help with the incident.

A update to the Facebook post said the driver who left the scene contacted the department and is being cooperative.
