Power Outages Mount in Northern Westchester

As of 9:45 p.m. Monday, there were 2,396 Con Edison customers without power Monday.

The range of outages included two in Bedford, 139 in Cortlandt and seven in Mount Pleasant.

Many of the outages were not expected to be resolved until Wednesday.

High winds are causing a lot of damage across northern Westchester Monday, at the tail end of Sunday's storm.

Almost 2,000 customers were without power in 58 outages as of 1 p.m. For most, the estimated repair time is 9 p.m.

Particularly hard hit was a section of Cortlandt, with 395 customers out and the neighborhood bordered by Watch Hill Road and Washington Street affected.
