Sewage Emergency Closes Snowden Avenue In Ossining

OSSINING, NY — A problem with one of the sewer lines running to Westchester's regional sewage treatment plant will keep part of Snowden Avenue closed for three days. That will divert a lot of train commuter traffic onto Main Street. Plus, anyone wanting to get to the waterfront (including Shattemuc Yacht Club, The Boathouse, Westerly Marina, Harbor Square Ossining, or 3 Westerly) should use the Secor Road Bridge.
