Storm Changes Ossining Services
A snow emergency has been declared in the village and there will be no Monday garbage pickup in the town.
OSSINING, NY — Village officials have declared a snow emergency in effect from 8 p.m. Sunday until further notice. That means stopping, standing and parking are prohibited on designated Snow Emergency Streets.

Also, Suburban Carting crews will not be operating on Monday. More information about rescheduling Monday's pick-up will be shared as soon as the company has an opportunity to assess the storm's impacts.

The Joseph G. Caputo Community Center at 95 Broadway will be operating as a warming center on 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday. All Monday programming, including lap swimming is canceled.
The Recreation Department is prepared to have the overnight emergency shelter at the Community Center staffed and operational, should the need arise — this will be decided Monday.
