Transformer Fire Closes Route 9 In Ossining
The fire on a utility pole left several hundred customers without power.

OSSINING, NY — Route 9 at the southern end of Ossining was closed after a transformer fire on a utility pole.
Power was knocked out for hours to more than 300 customers in Briarcliff Manor and Ossining.

Police asked people to keep their distance and follow detours.
