3 Teens Accused Of Making Graffiti: Orangetown Police

They are accused of vandalizing structures along the CSX route, police said.

ORANGEBURG, NY — Orangetown police were called Wednesday by a New York State trooper who noticed three people drawing graffiti on CSX property near Western Highway and Mountain View Avenue.

Officers arrived and saw three youths who they said appeared to be spray-painting various structures on the train route. The boys saw the police and ran, but one was caught right away and the others were arrested after a short investigation, police said.

Two of them, an 18-year-old from Piermont and a 19-year-old from Orangeburg, were charged with criminal mischief, making graffiti and trespass. The third, a 19-year-old from Orangeburg, was charged with trespass.
