Orangetown Police Seek Public's Help, Warn Car Owners
Footage from several Ring cameras showed a man trying door handles and stealing from cars in Orangeburg.
ORANGETOWN, NY — Orangetown police are asking residents of Orangeburg to check any surveillance cameras for footage of attempted car larcenies.
Police said a man was observed on several Ring cameras in the area of Minute Man Circle and Rutgers Road on Thursday conducting car larcenies and checking car door handles.
The crimes took place between 2:30 a.m. and 4 a.m., police said.

"We would also like to take this time to reminded everyone to make sure they remove all valuables including your key FOB from your vehicles, and remember to lock the doors," they said.
