Pearl River Patch School District Voters Guide
If you live in the Pearl River school district here's what you need to know.

Editor's Note: The deadline for school districts to receive school budget ballots has been extended. Gov. PEARL RIVER, NY — New York residents are asked to vote on their local school district's budget and board of education by mail this year because of the new coronavirus pandemic.
That meant New York's 700 districts ordered absentee ballots and envelopes for every registered voter. That meant that problems such as the paper shortage plaguing communities during the beginning of the pandemic became problems for the districts.

Under Gov. Andrew Cuomo's executive order, ballots must be returned to the District Clerk by 5 p.m. June 9 though some political officials are trying to have the deadline extended.

Voting information
In the event that a resident voter does not feel that there is enough time to return ballots via USPS mail, sealed ballots can be dropped off at a drive-up, contactless drop box at the Pearl River School District Administration Building at 135 West Crooked Hill Road during the following dates and times:
- Thursday, June 4th, 8:00 AM to 6 PM
- Friday, June 5th, 8 AM to 6 PM
- Saturday, June 6th, 8 AM to 12 PM
- Monday June 8th, 8 AM to 6 PM
- Tuesday, June 9th, 8 AM to 5 PM
Board of Education
There are three candidates running for one seat on the Board of Education: School trustees serve three year terms and are unpaid.
