Pearl River Student Competes for SUNY Oneonta

ONEONTA, NY (06/01/2016)-- Kayla Clohessy, a Fashion Merchandising major from Pearl River, NY was a member of the 2015-16 SUNY Oneonta women's track and field team.
The Red Dragons won both the SUNYAC Indoor and Outdoor Track & Field Championships for the first time in program history.

Kayla was a member of both the indoor and outdoor teams this year and competed in sprints, hurdles, long jump and triple jump. Indoor season accomplishments: NCAA All-American (Long Jump), USTFCCCA All-Region (Long Jump), SUNYAC First Team All-Conference, SUNYAC Champion in long jump. Outdoor season accomplishments: SUNYAC Second Team All-Conference, SUNYAC medalist 4x100 and long jump, ECAC long jump champion, USTFCCCA All-Region (long jump, 4x100), NCAA Qualifer long jump, NCAA All-American long jump (8th place).
