Supportive factors for a full return:

  • The coronavirus vaccination initiative’s focus on workers in an educational setting has resulted in most of staff receiving full vaccination or at least one dose
  • Changes in Rockland County Department of Health's quarantine guidelines have reduced the number of days and the number of students and staff that would need to quarantine when a new case is identified
  • Low COVID-19 transmission rate in schools
  • Lower community infection rate
