Pfizer Hosts Kids@Pfizer Event

Kids@Pfizer is an opportunity for children of Pfizer colleagues to learn about science and participate in educational activities.

From Pfizer Pearl River:Recently, Pfizer Pearl River, NY colleagues and their children did something special for children at the Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital in Valhalla. During the annual Kids@Pfizer event held at the company’s North Middletown Road location, 85 children and 70 colleague volunteers participated in a toy drive and made cards for youngsters at the hospital.

Kids@Pfizer is an opportunity for children of Pfizer colleagues to learn about science and participate in educational activities. After hearing that some other Pfizer locations also used the event to support charitable causes, Pearl River organizers decided to share the joy with the larger community by collecting over 100 toys, books and blankets for Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital. In addition, more than 100 cheerful cards made by the children of colleagues provided a warm and caring touch.

2. Kids@Pfizer is typically an opportunity for children of Pfizer employees to learn about science and participate in educational activities. This year, organizers at the Pearl River site decided to include a toy drive to benefit children at Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital in Valhalla.

3. In all, over 100 toys, books and blankets were delivered after this year’s annual Kids@Pfizer event to Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital in Valhalla. The hospital staff was grateful for the donation, particularly since the toy drive was timed halfway through to the next holiday season.
