Rockland Officials Start Youth Coronavirus Vaccination Campaign
Town and county officials created a pop-up clinic at Albertus Magnus High School.

BARDONIA, NY — Rockland's five town supervisors and County Executive Ed Day visited Albertus Magnus High School Tuesday to promote the vaccination of young adults age 16 and up.
The first 10 Albertus Magnus students vaccinated were declared the Vaccine Ambassadors of Rockland County.

The local governments are working together to get more Rockland County residents vaccinated. More than half of Rockland's adults have received at least one dose of vaccine. However, vaccination rates vary greatly across local communities, with the lowest in Monsey — 10 percent — and the highest in Orangeburg, 60 percent.
