SUEZ Reservoir Areas Open For Recreation
Visit Lake DeForest, Lake Tappan, Woodcliff Lake and Oradell reservoirs, enjoy the outdoors and help protect local water sources.

ROCKLAND COUNTY, NY — The SUEZ Watershed Recreation Program has opened its watershed property for fishing, hiking and birding activities. The 2019 program provides participants with access to watershed property in Rockland and in Bergen County, New Jersey.
Permit holders can visit designated locations at the Lake DeForest, Lake Tappan, Woodcliff Lake and Oradell reservoirs. Wheelchair accessible areas are located at Lake Tappan and Woodcliff Lake.
”Participants can enjoy the beauty of our watershed and reflect on the importance of protecting our local water resources,” said Chris Graziano, vice president and general manager of SUEZ operations in New York.

Children between the ages of 6 and 12 will receive a “Reservoir Ranger” Junior Naturalist Activity Book that features interactive learning opportunities about watershed locations.
Fees for SUEZ customers:

- Children ages 6 to 17 - $30
- Adults ages 16 to 61 - $40
- Seniors ages 62 and older - $30
- Family (2 adults/2 children) - $100
- Guest pass - $40
Fees for non-SUEZ customers:
- Children, adults and seniors - $50 per person
Watershed Recreation Program permits can be purchased online at www.suezwatershed.com. Residents who wish to receive an application through the mail can call SUEZ at 201-767-9300 Ext. 3208.
The website also features a downloadable Watershed Recreation Brochure which highlights key information on watershed locations as well as the types of wildlife that can be observed throughout the properties. The program runs through Nov. 30.
Remember, permit holders who plan to fish must have valid New York and/or New Jersey state fishing licenses.
SUEZ provides water service to 500,000 people in Rockland and Westchester counties in New York.
