Visiting Hours are Feb. 18 for Patrick T. Shand

Patrick T. Shand of Pearl River, NY died Sunday February 15, 2015 at Nyack Hospital.

Mr. Shand worked as a heavy equipment operator for over 20 years. He was a member of the Operating Engineers Local 825 in New Jersey.

Pat was born February 11, 1957 in Nyack, NY to Robert and Margaret Crowley Shand. He earned a Bachelors degree from Buffalo State. On October 1, 1983 he married Patricia Kelly at St. Margaret’s Church in Pearl River.

Locally he was a member of the Pearl River Hook & Ladder for 42 years.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia, son, Patrick, mother, Margaret, brother, Robert, sister, Diane (Jerry), mother in law, Vivian, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10:00am Thursday at St. Aedan’s R. C. Church, Pearl River. Interment will follow at Highview Cemetery, Nanuet, NY. Visiting is Wednesday from 3-5 and 7-9 pm at Wyman-Fisher Funeral Home Inc.
