Visiting Hours are Oct. 16 for Mary Farley

She was 70.

Mary G. Farley née Scully of Pearl River, NY died peacefully on Monday, October 13, 2014 at Nyack Hospital after a long battle with pancreatic cancer. She was 70. Mary was born August 6, 1944 in the Bronx to Veronica and John Scully. Mary graduated from Walton High School in the Bronx.

Mary will be remembered for her warm and kind heart and her ability to touch the lives of all who knew and loved her.

Mary is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, John; her devoted son, John Farley of Pearl River; daughters, Elizabeth and Mary Farley; brothers, John Scully and Tom Scully of Pearl River and her sister, Eileen Workman of Virginia. In addition to them Mary will be deeply missed by her beloved grandson, Jonathon, who was the light and love of her life.

Mary is predeceased by her parents, and her siblings, Steve, Frank, Cecelia, Mearl and Gilberta.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 16th from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Wyman-Fisher Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, October 17th at 10am at St. Margaret’s Church, Pearl River. Burial immediately following at Pearl River Cemetery, Pearl River , NY. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mary’s memory can be made to The Lustgarten Foundation for pancreatic research. www.lustgarten.org.
