PLEASANTVILLE, NY — A 20-year-old Pleasantville driver was taken to Westchester Medical Center after a series of crashes ended on the train tracks in downtown Pleasantville on Friday.

"Fortunately nobody was seriously injured," police Lt. Jesse Wollman told Patch.

The multi-car accident unfolded at 11:45 a.m. It started with a minor accident on Grant Street, then the car continued into Memorial Plaza, across the lanes into the parking lot, striking two parked cars before going across the grass, through a chain link fence and down the embankment onto the Metro-North tracks.
