Coronavirus Closes Mount Pleasant Pool, Community Center
Contact tracing is beginning for two positive cases.
MOUNT PLEASANT, NY — Town officials have closed the Mount Pleasant pool and community center after two seasonal employees tested positive for the new coronavirus.
The Town immediately took action to contact Westchester County's Department of Health and made the decision to close the pool and the center. The town is working with county officials to begin the necessary steps for contact tracing, officials said in a message to residents at 12:50 p.m. Thursday.
"The Town will keep residents updated as more information is collected," they said. "Thank you in advance for your patience and understanding as we address this unfolding situation. As always, the safety of our employees and residents is our top priority."
