Coronavirus: Pleasantville Music Festival 2020 Cancelled

PLEASANTVILLE, NY — Due to the new coronavirus pandemic, the 2020 Pleasantville Music Festival has been cancelled.

"It is with great sadness and disappointment that we announce that the Pleasantville Music Festival is cancelled for 2020," Executive Director Bruce Figler wrote on the website. "We’ve always considered our Festival a safe, welcoming, carefree, and family-friendly environment. Now, as we all practice safe social distancing, we cannot predict when it will be okay for the community to gather safely."

"We have chosen to cancel the event and not to postpone it to a future date, simply because we are uncertain what the situation will be in the near future and it’s just not possible to plan for that," he said. "We are, however, keeping an open mind toward having some sort of alternate, smaller-scale event later in the year, should circumstances allow. We wish you and your family safety and good health in the days ahead and we fully expect the Pleasantville Music Festival to return in 2021."

For those who purchased advance tickets on-line through TicketWeb, ticket costs and fees will be automatically refunded to your credit card within two weeks; you will not need to take any action.
