Extra Pleasant

Place preorders from our vendors Tues, 7:00pm – Thurs, 7:00pm. Then walk up Saturday, 8:30am – 1:00pm, to gather your preorders shop further

There is so much that makes Pleasantville Farmers Market a pleasant place to start one's Saturdays. Throughout the pandemic the Market never closed, safely and consistently maintaining access to producers for our community of home cooks - including by developing an effective online platform to help shoppers get in an out quickly. With NYS permitting markets to open things up area residents and destination visitors are again arriving to enjoy a summer of sampling, selecting one's produce, and browsing a diversity of choices in the county's largest, weekly year-round farmers market (one that shoppers have voted Best of Westchester for 8 years in a row). Wonderful shops, eateries, and attractions in our Village also offer a pleasant place to stroll, all weekend. Every Saturday we hope we help create an extra Pleasantville kind of start to your weekend.

EIGHT YEARS AS
BEST OF WESTCHESTER!

The Pleasantville Farmers Market has been voted Best Of Westchester by the readers of Westchester Magazine for an 8th year in a row (2014 - 2021)! The most important aspect in our run as the Best, especially with the big bump in the road that was 2020, has been the teamwork of all involved.

Our farmers and food artisans are incredibly dedicated to their role in providing healthful food for our community. Our shoppers dependably shop for their families each week while supporting these regional producers. Pleasantville's municipal leaders and staff, the Pleasantville Chamber of Commerce and our Sponsors all provide key support. And our staff and volunteers provide untold hours to ensure this complex event succeeds in appearing simple each week.

The generous commitment of all these participants, working in concert, has helped Pleasantville Farmers Market stay on course. Thanks to all of you for contributing to this teamwork, and for enabling the Market to provide its best.

KNOW BEFORE YOU GO

Recent changes in NYS COVID-19 regulations have enabled us to modify our health & safety protocols for customers at the Pleasantville Farmers Market -- balancing changes in mask use with a marketplace that remains the same in terms of distancing, layout and the option to wear a mask as an extra precaution if preferred. Our updated policies are:

  • Vaccinated shoppers may visit the Market without wearing a mask
  • Unvaccinated shoppers (including children ages 2 through 12) are required to wear a mask covering nose and mouth while shopping
  • The Market is collecting documentation of vaccinations for vaccinated vendors and Market volunteers who wish to be in the marketplace without a mask
  • NYS regulations still require markets to maintain all distancing measures at this time

The Market will continue to re-evaluate its health & safety protocols as NYS updates their rules and regulations for farmers markets.
