Hazardous Outlook For Hudson Valley As Balmy Falls To Frigid
Rain, thunder and then wind chills in the 20s: Here's the latest.
HUDSON VALLEY, NY — Some parts of the Hudson Valley could hit 70 degrees Tuesday, but a cold front is just a day away, and the National Weather Service has issued a new hazardous weather outlook.
For Orange, Putnam, Rockland and Westchester counties, isolated strong to severe thunderstorms are possible Wednesday afternoon and early evening, with damaging winds as the primary threat, the NWS said.
"That front will bring crashing late day temperatures into the Hudson Valley, where we’ll go from the low 60s near lunch time, and be in the 30s by sunset," said Alex Marra and Bill Potter of Hudson Valley Weather.
