Hazardous Outlook Issued As Storm Flood Parkways

A hazardous weather outlook has been issued for northern Westchester, Putnam and Rockland counties.

PLEASANTVILLE, NY — The severe storm system battering the Hudson Valley has caused flooding and wind damage.

Isolated thunderstorms with strong to damaging wind gusts are possible mid afternoon into this evening, said the National Weather Service issuing a hazardous outlook for Putnam, Rockland and northern Westchester.

Due to flooding, the Saw Mill River Parkway is closed between Marble Ave and Bedford Road. The parkway northbound is closed at the Taconic Parkway interchange. Also, there is no entry from Marble Avenue.

The Bronx River Parkway is closed in places due to ponding. Main Street north- and southbound, Scarsdale Road, north- and southbound from Sprain split and Butler Road northbound closures due to flooding
