Recent changes in NYS COVID-19 regulations have enabled us to modify our health & safety protocols for customers at the Pleasantville Farmers Market -- balancing changes in mask use with a marketplace that remains the same in terms of distancing, layout and the option to wear a mask as an extra precaution if preferred. Our updated policies are:

  • Vaccinated shoppers may visit the Market without wearing a mask
  • Unvaccinated shoppers are requested to still wear a mask covering nose and mouth while shopping
  • The Market is collecting documentation of vaccinations for vaccinated vendors and Market volunteers who wish to be in the marketplace without a mask
  • NYS regulations still require markets to maintain all distancing measures at this time

The Market will continue to re-evaluate its health & safety protocols as NYS updates their rules and regulations for farmers markets.

MARKET SPROUTS!

Last week's rain shifted this event to this Saturday. While current NYS regulations still constrain our ability to host kids activities in the marketplace, our Market Sprouts team has created a take home activity for your sprout to help kick off a summer vibe! Activity kits will be handed out by Market Interns (with Pumpkin our Market pig watching) at the main entrance/exit from 9:00 -11:30am. The first 80 kids will get a FREE Market Sprouts bag to take their activity home in.

DON'T MISS YOUR SHOT!

This Saturday, 9am -1pm, visitors to the Market (12 and older) can get a shot of COVID-19 vaccine, thanks to Lead Sponsor Phelps Hospital Northwell Health and their partner the Ossining Volunteer Ambulance Corps. It's FREE! No insurance needed. First come, first served. Please bring ID to verify age.
