Lane Closures on the Taconic Parkway near the Saw Mill

Beginning Monday, through Sept. 30, lane closures are expected to occur on the north- and southbound portions of the Taconic State Parkway in the vicinity of the Saw Mill River Parkway interchange.

Crews will be performing construction activities, weather permitting.

Closures are anticipated to occur weekdays beginning at 7 p.m. through 6 a.m. the following morning. Southbound lane closures are anticipated to end at 5 a.m. each morning.

Expect delays.

Drivers are asked to use caution when traveling through the work zone area and pay particular attention to flaggers and all traffic control devices.

Remember, fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. In accordance with the Work Zone Safety Act of 2005, convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of an individual’s driver license.
