Locals 'Step Up for Kids' at Valhalla 5K

The Children's Advocacy Center benefitted from the first annual race, held Saturday.

Locals took part on Saturday in a statewide initiative, Step Up for Kids, through a 5K run and walk at Westchester Medical Center.

More than 100 athletes participated in the Valhalla charity run that benefitted the Children’s Advocacy Center (CAC).

On the women's side, 10-year-old Olivia Cantor of Valhalla placed first; with Briarcliff Manor's Lisa Goodkin and Ann Pastore claiming second and third place.
