MOOYAH In Briarcliff Manor To Donate Sales To Puerto Rico Aid

Twenty percent of sales for one day will be going to the Red Cross.

BRIARCLIFF MANOR, NY — In order to support aid to Puerto Rico, in the wake of devastating hurricanes, one local restaurateur will be donating part of his sales for one day. On Tuesday, Oct. 24, 20 percent of sales at the MOOYAH Burgers, Fries & Shakes, located in Larchmont and Briarcliff Manor, will go to the Red Cross.

The owner, Anthony Grippo, said he understands the impacts of the devastation in Puerto Rico are being felt by friends and family living in the Hudson Valley, so he wanted to do something to help and show support. "There was so much continuous coverage about back to back hurricanes and the destruction all of these storms caused,” Grippo said. “Hurricane Maria has completely devastated the people of Puerto Rico leaving the majority of residents without electricity, clean water and shelter. We wanted to give back and create a fundraiser that directly helped the people of Puerto Rico get back on their feet."
