UPDATE: Mt Pleasant Assists Seniors With Vaccine Appointments
The few appointments available Wednesday and Thursday were filled, and town officials will keep those who were unsuccessful on a wait list.
UPDATE — Mount Pleasant town officials announced at 2 p.m. that all available appointments for the vaccine distribution announced Tuesday morning have now been taken.
Spots were limited and filled up very quickly as the registration was opened for all municipalities' seniors in Westchester County, officials said.
If town officials were able to make you an appointment, you will be notified via the email or phone number you provided.

If you are not contacted, town officials will continue to try to find you an appointment in Westchester County as more vaccines become available.
If you are in the future able to obtain an appointment on your own, they ask that you contact the Recreation Department at 914-742-2310 so they can remove your name from the list to be sure they are scheduling appointments for those in need.

MOUNT PLEASANT, NY — Mount Pleasant residents who are 65 and older are eligible for vaccine appointments under a local program for Westchester County seniors who need help obtaining appointments on the Internet.
Town officials said Tuesday morning that they had been notified that Westchester County will be receiving vaccines for older residents that will be distributed in Valhalla on Wednesday, and Thursday.
Each municipality is responsible to sign up their seniors.

Spots are limited and will fill up very quickly, town officials warned. However, they said, "If we are unable to obtain appointments for this particular site for our seniors, we will retain the list to continue to fill appointments in Westchester County as more vaccines become available."
