Obituary: Gloria T. Pollak, Former Briarcliff Manor Resident

Gloria T. Pollak – 94, Formerly of Briarcliff Manor, passed away on Thursday, September 10, 2020.

Gloria was born in Manhattan, on October 12, 1925 and was the daughter of the late Luigi and Rachel (Mauro) Civale.

Gloria was a retired supervisor with Eastman Kodak Film, in NYC. She was a member of the Rotary District 7230-Inner Wheel and longtime parishioner of St. Theresa’s Church in Briarcliff Manor.

Mrs. Pollak is survived by 2 daughters Barbara Ann (Lenny) Rossetti and Gloria G. (Glen) Legler; 7 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren.

Gloria was predeceased by her first husband Angelo Rocco on May 22, 1952 and her second husband Arthur Pollak on October 28, 1993.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday, September 11, from 3-7pm at Dorsey Funeral Home. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 10 am at St. Theresa’s Church in Briarcliff Manor. The interment will follow at St. Raymond’s Cemetery.
