Pleasantville School Board Proposes $53.8M Budget For 2021-22
The budget and board vote is May 18.

PLEASANTVILLE, NY — The Pleasantville Board of Education has proposed a $53.8 million spending plan for 2021-22, an increase of 2 percent over the current $52.75 million budget.
The proposal calls for a tax levy increase of 0.59 percent, well below the state's property tax cap of 2.22 percent. District officials said the actual tax rate increase will be based on final assessments calculated by the Town of Mount Pleasant in August.
Included in the revenue for the coming school year is $8,547,172 in federal and state aid, plus a state grant of $194,400 for universal Pre-K.
