Pleasantville School Calendar 2017-18: First Day Of School, Vacations, Conferences

The first day of school in Pleasantville is September 6. Feel free to mark it on your calendar as one of the most dreaded days of the year for students and teachers — and feel free not to feel guilty about marking it as one of your favorites. The Pleasantville School District has released its 2017-2018 calendar for public schools.

The calendar includes important dates such as winter and spring vacations, religious holidays, federal holidays, early dismissals and parent-teacher conferences.

• 11/6: All JV/Varsity Winter Sports Begin
• 11/7: No School for Students (Superintendent's Conference Day)
• 11/23 - 11/24: No School (Thanksgiving Recess)
• 11/27: All Modified Winter Sports Begin

December

• 12/25 - 1/1: No School (Holiday Recess)

January

• 1/1: No School (Holiday Recess)
• 1/15: No School (Martin Luther King Jr. Day)

February

• 2/19 - 2/23: No School (Winter Recess)

March

• 3/5: All JV/Varsity Spring Sports Begin
• 3/26: All Modified Spring Sports Begin
