Rockefeller State Park to Hold Walks and Talks
Rockefeller State Park Preserve Manager Susan Antenen will conduct various 30-minute walks and talks in June and July.

From Rockefeller State Park Preserve: This summer, join Preserve Manager Susan Antenen on a monthly 30-minute walk, “Life in the Preserve” and her monthly 30-minute talk, “What’s new in the Preserve?” Her next talks are Sunday, June 25th and Sunday, July 9th at 3:30 PM. The next walk is Sunday, July 16th at 9:30 AM.
Both programs provide the public with an understanding of what the Preserve is doing to keep the landscape as enjoyable today as it was for the Rockefellers 100 years ago. Preserve Manager Susan Antenen describes upcoming changes, trail improvement projects, and new land stewardship practices. Attendees are invited to bring their questions about the Preserve’s ecology, management, and history.
The walks begin in the courtyard outside the Preserve Office and Gallery. The talks are held in the Preserve Gallery.

Its network of carriage trails wind through scenic forests, fields, and wetlands, which provide important habitat for native plants and wildlife.
The Preserve Office and Gallery are open daily from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PMand are located at 125 Phelps Way, Pleasantville, N.Y. 10570.
