Saw Mill River Parkway: New Traffic Pattern Coming for Commuters
down to one lane both ways as work continues on two bridges in Pleasantville

A new temporary traffic pattern is expected to go into effect on the Saw Mill River Parkway beginning at midnight on Aug. 6. State transportation officials anticipate it will last through Aug. 26.
The new pattern will restrict the parkway to a single lane in both northbound and southbound directions between Exit 27 (Marble Avenue) and Exit 30 (Grant Street), while crews perform construction activities, weather permitting.
The New York State Department of Transportation is reconstructing two bridges on the parkway in Pleasantville. The structures are located under historic arch bridges at Bedford Road and Pleasantville Road and over the Saw Mill River. The historic bridges are not part of the project, officials said.
