Snow Showers Possible Wednesday In The Hudson Valley

HUDSON VALLEY, NY — It's December, and the forecast includes a chance of snow on Wednesday.

"You can see the snow showers and flurry activity on the computer guidance is not impressive, but we’ll have to keep an eye on it," said the folks at Hudson Valley Weather. "A dusting to a half inch of snow is possible in spots, especially in the higher elevations."

We might get snow showers. The storm that brought us a lot of rain last week turned into a nor'easter, went through bombogenesis, pummeled New England with high winds and up to a foot of snow in some areas, and left hundreds of thousands of power outages in its wake.

We might get snow showers, mixed with rain showers, turning to all rain.

Here's one wintry prediction: it will get cold. Overnight Tuesday into Wednesday, temps will drop into the teens.
