Street Work To Affect Wheeler Avenue
Pleasantville officials warn residents to expect parking restrictions and traffic issues.
PLEASANTVILLE, NY — Starting on Tuesday Sept. 3, water and sewer line construction work will affect parking and traffic on Wheeler Avenue. Work should be finished by Sept. 7.
Most of the work will take place during late evening and overnight hours to minimize disruptions; however, businesses and residents should anticipate parking restrictions on Wheeler Avenue (near 48 Wheeler Avenue) and the Bedford Road parking lot due to equipment and traffic patterns, village officials said.
The exit from the Bedford Road parking lot may at times need to be closed due to trenching and drivers will be directed to enter and exit on Bedford Road during those times.
