Summer Reading 2021 at MPPL

Join us this year for Summer Reading 2021!

We will be offering a variety of programs for all ages! All programs run from June 25-August 22.

Youth Summer Reading

Kickoff Prize Pickup - June 25, 12-2pm & June 28, 10am-12pm
Summer Reading has begun! Join Miss Debbie and Miss Janet outside the library to pick up your kickoff prize bag, which will include prizes, an activity, and details about the program! Please click HERE to register each child (grades PreK-12) before you come. We can't wait to see you rain or shine!

Early Childhood

• This program is designed for YOUNG CHILDREN in grades Pre-K, K, and 1.
• In this virtual program, you can print and complete reading logs, play book bingo, play games, and check out book suggestions and win prizes!

Children

• This program is designed for CHILDREN in grades 2-4.
• In this virtual program, you can log minutes as you read, write and read book reviews, play games, complete fun missions, and check out book suggestions, and win prizes!

Teens

• This program is designed for YOUNG ADULTS in grades 5-12.
• In this virtual program, you can log minutes as you read, write and read book reviews, play games, complete fun missions, and check out book suggestions and win prizes!

Adult Summer Reading

• This is a program for ADULTS! It's simple, no gimmicks. All you have to do is read books and write reviews. Each review earns you a raffle ticket and at the end of the program three Grand Prizes will be awarded!

Summer Programs
We will also be offering a variety of fun programs as part of summer reading! Many will be held virtually and some will be held on the front lawn of the Main Library in Pleasantville (weather permitting). Please check our program calendar for details and to register.
