Summer Reading at MPPL

Virtual Summer Programming

We are pleased to offer our 2020 Summer Reading Programs from June 29 - August 23!

This year all programs will be run online. There will be two programs for children, one for teens and one for adults.

Although the library buildings are closed to the public right now, we are still running virtual programs remotely. Please visit our library calendar to see what is being offered. You can also sign up for our monthly newsletter and we will email you the latest information once a month.

This summer Miss Debbie's storytimes will be themed along with the youth summer reading programs. There will be links to downloadable templates for activities available along with the Storytime Activities video every Thursday throughout the summer reading program. As a special treat, Miss Debbie will be offering Grab & Go activity bags every other week to those who register though our library calendar.

The library offers access to digital ebooks through Overdrive, Hoopla, Cloud Library, and more, click here for a full list We are also offering curbside service while the building is closed to the public. You can place holds for materials owned by the main library here: MTP Materials or you can use the MPPL mobile app. After your holds are pulled (usually the next business day) you will be contacted to set up a pick up time and can stop by to get your materials at that time.
We look forward to an exciting summer of reading with you!
