Taconic State Parkway Lane Closures Expected Monday, Tuesday

MOUNT PLEASANT, NY — Lane closures are expected on the northbound Taconic State Parkway, between the Sprain Brook Parkway and Route 117, on Monday and Tuesday.

The work will go from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., while crews perform maintenance activities, weather permitting.

Expect delays and plan accordingly.

Drivers are asked to use caution when traveling through the work zone area and pay particular attention to flaggers and traffic control signs and devices.

Remember, fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. In accordance with the Work Zone Safety Act of 2005, convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of an individual’s driver license.
