Taconic State Parkway Lane Closures Expected Thursday, Friday in Mount Pleasant

Lane closures are expected to occur on the Taconic State Parkway between the Sprain Brook Parkway and Route 117, from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Thursday and Friday.

Crews will perform maintenance activities; motorist should expect delays and seek alternate routes where possible.

Use caution when traveling through the work zone area and pay particular attention to flaggers and all traffic control devices, including signs.

Remember, fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. In accordance with the Work Zone Safety Act of 2005, convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of an individual’s driver license.
