Governor Cuomo has announced that as of Wednesday, 5/19, New York State will adopt CDC guidelines regarding mask wearing and social distancing. Please note the following:
- Masks are still required on public transportation, nursing homes, homeless shelters, correctional facilities, schools, and healthcare facilities.
- Private businesses have the ability to implement additional guidelines.
- Immunocompromised and unvaccinated people should continue to wear a mask and social distance. Â

Vaccines:Approximately 66% of those 18+ years of age in Pleasantville are vaccinated. Westchester County reports that 47% of eligible residents have been fully vaccinated. According to Westchester County 56% of residents have received at least their first shot.
