Work On Route 9A In Mount Pleasant To Take Place Saturday

MOUNT PLEASANT, NY — Traffic may be slow on Route 9A near Route 117 on Saturday. Crews will be out doing maintenance work if the weather permits.

A lane closure is expected northbound and southbound in the area of Route 117 between 6 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Expect delays and plan accordingly.

Remember, fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. In accordance with the Work Zone Safety Act of 2005, convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of an individual’s driver license.
