Accidents Tying Up Traffic On I-95
Traffic maps are showing slow traffic back from the state line to Mamaroneck.
A pair of accidents on I-95 Wednesday morning are causing significant traffic problems. A tractor trailer-versus-a-car accident occurred around 5 a.m. on I-95 northbound near Exit 2. The right lane is closed, according to the Department of Transportation.
The second accident happened shortly before 9 a.m. on I-95 northbound between Exit 20 (I-95) - Rye (Rte 1) and Exit 22 (I-95) - Port Chester - Midland Avenue.
The DOT's map is showing heavy traffic from the New York/Connecticut state line to Fenimore Road.
